About our App

The Bloom HomeControl app, which works with the Bloom HomeControl mechanism, is the smartest way to eliminate mosquitoes. It offers you personalized, safe and effective protection from mosquitoes for you and your family.

The features:

• SMART MODEautomatically adapts the program to your needs. It allows you to have the right dose, intensity and duration time by analysing your environment through a series of questions and mosquito forecasting (powered by Accuweather).
• REMOTE CONTROL allows you to turn the Bloom HomeControl mechanism on and off immediately whenever you want, even remotely.
• SMART SCHEDULE fully personalised protection program. Set On and Off times and intensity for your daily needs and planning.
• START and END Time
• INTENSITY: Normal / Boost
• DAY of WEEK
• MOSQUITO FORECASTfeature allows you to check at any time the mosquito intensity in your area.
• MANUAL SELECTION OF INTENSITY CONTROL helps you to adjust the intensity according to the presence of mosquitoes. You just press the centre button to switch between Off, Smart, Normal and Boost mode. Boost mode works only for 8 hours, and then changes to Normal automatically.
• TIMER feature allows you to select the default timer of 8h or 24h on the home screen of HomeControl. When the time is up, the Bloom HomeControl mechanism switches off automatically.
• ADD NEW DEVICE option allows you to add the new Bloom HomeControl devices you have installed in your home.
• ADD NEW USER feature allows you to add other family members so that they can also control the Bloom HomeControl device using their smartphone.
• GROUPING feature allows you to organise your Bloom HomeControl devices into groups as you want and control them at the same time.
• REFILL ALARM feature lets you know the amount of remaining liquid insecticide left in the HomeControl refill. You can manually configure at what level you want to receive the notification through a pop-up message.
• NIGHTSHIFT feature allows you to adjust the intensity of the diffuser.
• OurTUTORIALS offer you instructions explaining how to register your Bloom HomeControl in the app and also set up your personalised program through the useful features that the Bloom HomeControl app has.

In particular, any reproductions, adaptations, translations, storage and processing in other media, including storage or processing by electronic means, enjoy copyright protection. The full or partial use of the same will require the prior written consent of Henkel. Both the content and structure of the app is protected by copyright. Any reproduction of information or data, in particular the use of texts or parts thereof or image materials requires Henkel’s prior written consent. Illustrations are protected by copyright. The rights of dissemination and reproduction are held by Henkel. The rights also remain in force in their entirety when images are automatically or manually added to an archive.

The Henkel oval logo and all product names and/or product launches within this app are registered trademarks of Henkel, its subsidiaries, affiliates, licensors or joint venture partners. Any unauthorised use or abuse of these trademarks is expressly prohibited and constitutes a violation of trademark law, copyright law, other intellectual property rights or unfair competition.

Discontinuance of the Operation of the App

Henkel reserves the right to discontinue the service of this app, or any service provided therein, at any time. Henkel may especially, for merely illustrative purposes, do so for technical reasons (such as viruses in the computer system, handling software/hardware problems) or if for any reason the operation of the services provided in this app cannot be guaranteed any more or if Henkel changes its marketing strategies.

General Disclaimer

Any liability of Henkel for damages arising from the use of this app -irrespective of the legal clause, including tort- is limited to damages that are directly attributable to this party. To the extent that there is a mandatory liability of Henkel as a result of breach of material contractual duties, the total amount of any claim for damages is limited to the foreseeable damages. This shall not affect Henkel’s liability under applicable Product Liability Law or under any warranties give. The aforementioned limitations of liability also do not apply in the event of harm to life, bodily injury or harm to the health of a person.

Henkel employs great efforts keep Henkel’s apps and websites free from viruses. However, we are unable to guarantee the complete absence of viruses. For this reason, we recommend that care be taken to ensure adequate protection against viruses (e.g. using virus scanners) before downloading documents and data.
